The Barony of St. Swithin’s Bog will be demonstrating Medieval Activities at The Cambria County Heritage Festival on September 14th & 15th at Duman Lake County Park, 157 County Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931. Our Baronial Champion Tournaments will be held in conjunction with this Demo on Sunday September 15th. Activities will include Arts & Science Exhibits, How-To Classes, Fencing, Heavy Combat, Youth Combat, Thrown Weapons, and Archery. Thrown Weapons & Youth Combat are open to the public with a signed waiver that will be provided. Loaner gear will be available. This Demo is FREE. Attention all who call the Barony of St. Swithin’s Bog home! Their Excellencies request the presence of those who would do well to represent Them in next year’s 7 Pearls Tournament in the fields of Fencing, Heavy Weapons, Youth Heavy Weapons, Archery and Thrown Weapons. This year’s Baronial Champs event will be held SUNDAY, September 15th, 2024, at Duman Lake County Park 157 County Park Road, Ebensburg, PA 15931. Please plan to arrive between 10am-1pm as Troll will close at 1pm. The event will run from 10am-6pm. The site is discreetly wet. Following tradition for Baronial Champs, this event is FREE but you do need to sign in with Troll. Please bring a potluck dish to share with those in attendance. Hotdogs, Hamburgers, Buns, Condiments will be provided by the Chatelaine. Drinking water and paper products will be provided by the Barony.
