DESCRIPTION:Additional notes on Wheelchair Accessibility: The Picnic Shelter has a sloped paved road down to it\, but the restrooms are 100yards away\, in the main Lodge building (elevator access).\nAdditional Notes on Alcohol Policy: This is a WV State Park\, and drinking at the Picnic Shelter would count as Public Intoxication.\nAdditional Notes on Pet Policy: All Pets on Leash. Clean up after your pets.\nAdditional Notes on Flames: The Midland Trail Picnic shelter has a charcoal grill\, gas-grills should be watched carefully. \nCome join us June 10th 2023 and enjoy a day of food\, fun\, and fighting with the Barony of Blackstone Mountain at Hawk’s Nest Park Lodge\, 49 Hawk’s Nest Park Road\, Ansted\, WV 25812. \nStarting at 10am\, spend a relaxed day of BBQ and Potluck at Hawk Nest’s Midland Trail Picnic Shelter\, and catch up with old friends or meet new ones. We’ll be partying until 7pm\, so stop by for the day\, or just a few hours! \nBesides the party at the Picnic Shelter\, guests have full access to Hawk’s Nest Lodge’s Overlooks\, Gift Shop\, and for more refined dining\, their Restaurant. Rooms may be rented by contacting Hawk’s Nest Lodge at 304-658-5212 if you wish to make a weekend of it! \nThe Lodge’s lawn gives over a football field of room for melee practice before we go to War\, as well as any last-minute authorizations that might be needed. Our Knight Marshal is already making plans how best to use this opportunity! \nThe best part? There is no site fee!
