Coombs. 205 Bennett St. East Syracuse\, NY\, 13057. Email is gilliam.jc@gmail.com.\nA 4-lane archery range\, and 4-lane Thrown weapons range will be open from 9:00am to 6:00pm Saturday\, with a break for lunch around 11:00am.\nDelftwood Baronial Archery Championship will commence following lunch\, roughly 12:00pm.\nDelftwood Baronial Thrown Weapons Championship will commence at roughly 2:00pm\nThe site will be limited to a total of 120 participants for each day (Saturday and Sunday).\nRegistration fees are as follows\, please make sure reservations are received by monday\, aug 28:\nAdult Day Fee – $15.00 per day (SCA Members $10.00 per day)\nCamping Fee $5.00 per person whether you are staying 1 or 2 nights\nYouth Day Fee (Ages 6-14) $5.00 per day\, member or not.\nCamping Fee $5.00 per youth whether you are staying 1 or 2 nights.\nFamily Cap $50.00 for Day Fees and Camping for one or both nights\,\nChildren 0-5 No fees charges for site fees or camping.\nBagged Lunch both days will be available for $5.00. Any animal that causes a disturbance will be asked to be removed.\nAdditional Notes on Flames: After the fire is extinguished the holes must be refilled and the sod/grass replaced. “No trace left behind” policy. \nOn the Margins of kingdoms the whispers of war have reached the banks of the great river which makes our western border. We rally together our kin to expand our ranks and encourage the posterity to join us in our mission; a show of force (and frivolity) to ensure the prospect of our nations in these troubling times. \nThe Barony of Blackstone Mountain is beginning a new tradition of hosting a recruiting event with the aim of growing the armies in the southern span of our great Kingdom as well as throughout Aethelmearc and the entirety of the SCA. Baronial Champions will be chosen this day in a variety of activities. Tournaments will display the SCA’s prowess in Martial disciplines. A&S theme will be (With no physical flexibility required.) Limbo: How low can you go? A focus on low cost (under $20) options for beginners to furnish their garb and gear. Bards are encouraged to roam the entirety of the park (busking allowed) and take the (open to the public stage) with a reservation. \nBoons will be granted for the service of bringing a newcomer to share in our pastime. Sparking a flame of love for the modern medieval ages we have created in our Society. There will be one of a kind (Scadian) artisan made prizes as bounty for recruitment. – Entry to win is bought by having a newcomer list a member as a referral to the event. The owner of the site does not call it ADA Accessible as some cabins are not ADA Accessible. \nHarvest Raid XXIX\n“Rise from the Ashes”\nFriday\, September 29\, 2023 – Sunday\, October 1\, 2023\nWith a theme of “Rise from the Ashes\,” and with the spirit of the mythical Phoenix\, the Shire of Heronter invites one and all to join us as we celebrate and feast activities on the shores of Lake Chautauqua. Bring clothing for both hot and sunny and cool and rainy conditions. \nIndoor space is available in the Main Hall for socializing\, projects\, games\, and dance activities as well as the A&S Display and Silent Auction. Accessible indoor restrooms and changing spaces are available. \nIn celebration of our return to the traditional 3-day Harvest Raid\, bardic and dance activities are encouraged\, and requests for any special support for these activities may be sent to the autocrat. \nArts and Sciences Display – All attendees are encouraged to bring items\, in progress or complete\, to display in the Arts & Sciences Display. Documentation is encouraged but not required. There will be a populace vote with a prize to be announced at evening court. \nSilent Auction – We welcome SCA-appropriate donations for a Silent Auction\, including items you make or gear that needs a new home. \nMerchants – Merchants are welcome with no additional charge to the event registration.
