DESCRIPTION:This is a PSA (Po Service Announcement) from Steel Therapy & the Barony of Endless HIlls…\nNew Year’s… You’ve stuffed yourself full.. You’ve dealt with family and friends\, partied (or drunk\, or danced\, read\, napped\, whatever… ) all the way to midnight\, and then snogged anyone within range…\n…and now\, what you really need is to Stab someone.. Or many someones… Luckily…\nDonnan has a Party… Cyrus has an Academy… and Po… has New Year’s Resolutions! “Fence MORE! More fencing is MORE FENCING!”\nAs has become the tradition\, we’ll give the New Year 12 hours head start and then come after it\, smiling with rapiers in hand! We’ll have space for fencing and/or rattan\, and tables for camaraderie. DESCRIPTION:Hosted By: The Shire of Sylvan Glen\nRoyal Progress:     \n     \nAdditional notes on Wheelchair Accessibility: The basement area where the bulk of the event will be held is accessible from street level. The sanctuary where court will be held has some accessibility but attendees would need to be driven a very short distance to another entrance. \nThe Shire of Sylvan Glen cordially invites you to join us for a day of holiday cheer and fun at our Shire Twelfth Night Celebration on Saturday\, January 7\, 2023 from 10 am to 5 pm at the Christ Reformed United Church of Christ\, 304 East German Street\, Shepherdstown\, WV. This event has an attendance cap of 60 and pre-registration is required.\nThe theme for this event will be Masquerade. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite masks (over the mouth) or masques (or the eyes) for the day. Be creative with your mask wear. Let’s have some fun with it. The shire will have N95 masks for anyone who forgets theirs. We will also have a selection of masques for those who wish one while supplies last.\nWe have a safety plan approved by the Kingdom. This features four Corsi-Rosentahl boxes in the church Social Hall where we will be eating. This room has a hard cap of 50 people during the meal. The Shire will be supplying disposable dishes and food handler gloves\, and we will treat the potluck dinner like a restaurant buffet (i.e. please wear food handler gloves when using shared serving utensils and get a clean plate if you go back for more).\nMasks will be required for all other rooms due to the high ceilings. Court will also require masks.\nWe day will feature a games table so we invite you to bring along your favorites to share as well\, and Viking Gift Exchange (think Yankee Gift Exchange). It is an exciting game of strategy to secure the best loot. SUMMARY:Debatable Lands 12th Night Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Royal Progress:     \n    \nDebatable Lands 12th Night will be held on Saturday January 14th at North Park Lodge\, N Ridge Dr\, Allison Park\, PA 15101. 12th Night will host the Baronial A&S championship and Bardic championship\, and there will be a Baronial court in the evening. There will also be games\, an auction to benefit the barony\, and drinks provided by our fabulous Brewer’s Guild. The festivities will begin at noon and end around 7PM after court. \nThe event is free\, but due to the limitations of the indoor space\, masking will be strongly encouraged and attendance will be capped at 150 people. There will be no eating indoors. \nAll arrivals will enter through the masked area\, all bathrooms are in the masked area\, All scheduled activities will happen in masked areas; plan accordingly. [There will be masks available at troll.] \nThe Bardic championship will happen in the masked area with the provision that the performer only may be in a marked area 6 feet away from the crowd between two Corsi-Rosenthal boxes which will serve as the performance space. \nThe No Mask Required area will close at 3:30 pm. \nAt this time; we will set up of a masked vocal performance area. The performance by I Genesii will happen at 4 pm followed by The Debatable Choir and Court. \nSite closes directly after Court. \nWe understand this is not our usual Twelfth Night and there are many things that we have needed to do which we have not required in previous years. DESCRIPTION:Royal Progress:   \n     \nSt. Swithin’s Bog welcomes the populace of Æthelmearc and all the kingdoms to our Twelfth Night Celebration. Our event will be held on Saturday\, January 21\, 2023 from 10:00am-5:00pm at the Masonic Temple\, 130 Valley Pike Road\, Johnstown\, PA 15905. \nAttendees are invited to bring their own food and drinks. There will be a room available for eating inside the building. \nIt will be a day of camaraderie and celebration of our skills and masterfulness in the Arts and Sciences. Throughout the day we will have classes\, competitions and games. We will also have period music and dancing. If that does not meet your needs\, there will be games and fun for everyone throughout the day. Do you know what is even better??? This event is FREE to everyone! That is right folks\, it is FREE! Although donations will be graciously accepted\, St. Swithin’s Bog wants to say THANK YOU Æthelmearc for all your gracious love and hospitality through the year! \nWeather permitting\, there will be fighting and fencing pickups outside. \nThis event will be a “MASKED” Event and will follow all COVID Guidelines set forth by the Kingdom\, Society\, and CDC guidelines for our area.
