SUMMARY:25th Anniversary of the Tournament of the White Hart
DESCRIPTION:Additional notes on Wheelchair Accessibility: Site is not ADA Accessible but does have some ramps and handicap facilities\nAdditional Notes on Alcohol Policy: Due to new regulations the site is now dry. There are no exceptions to this rule.\nAdditional Notes on Pet Policy: Pets are only allowed if leashed at all times. Unleashed animals will be asked to leave site.\nAdditional Notes on Flames: Flames allowed only in designated areas (Camp fire pit and Hall firepit) No other open flames are allowed on site. \nIn the days leading up to the legendary hunt for the White Hart\, the folk of Port Oasis prepared a feast and celebration in their local lodge. These festivities prepared them for the long days ahead\, tracking the ever-elusive and elegant White Hart\, took place over several days. It will begin on Friday\, March 7th\, A.S. LIX by welcoming travelers from far and wide with warm and filling food and drink\, and a good night’s rest. Early Saturday morning\, March 8th\, the day’s events will begin with a hearty breakfast and lunch intermingled with tournaments and activities for all. A magnificent feast will be had in the evening\, followed by more merriment. On the morning of Sunday\, March 9th\, we will send forth our hunters until next year. \nThe first Lady of the White Hart by her own hand\, Baroness Rosheen o Faye and her Lord of the White Hart\, Baron Gunther Grunbaum\, wish to invite the Known World to join them in a celebration of tradition\, love\, and chivalry at the 25th Anniversary of the Tournament of the White Hart\, in the Shire of the Port Oasis\, where they would challenge all comers to display their honor\, love and arms for All to see through acts of chivalry and pageantry. DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! The Barony of Thescorre will be having a free\, heavy fighter-focused two-day event. The site is located at the Refinery\, 936 Exchange St. Rochester\, NY. \nThe site will open at 9:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM\, on both March 29th and 30th. There is no cost for entry to the event. \nHeavy fighting will be held in the gym upstairs and classes will be held on the first floor of the building in Redshield Hall. \nThere will be no feast or day board at this event\, so attendees are encouraged to pack lunch or plan to purchase a meal off-site. \nFor those who wish to contribute to covering the cost of the site\, donations will be accepted. \nPlease note; this site is not completely accessible for those with mobility issues. DESCRIPTION:Before they were Laurels\, peers of the arts had to pick up a pen. Before they charged forth a Knight or a Master of Defense\, martial peers had to pick up a sword. In that spirit does the Shire of Misty Highlands call all to its lands to continue the cycle of sharing knowledge with the populace of these Sylvan Lands!\nKnights and Round Tables returns after a long hiatus to encourage those of any age and experience to learn something new. Classes will be offered to introduce people to the arts that glorify our lands\, and martial skills will be shared\, with a focus on teaching those looking to travel that path.\nAnd\, to honor those beginning their journey in the Society\, a tournament will be held on the day\, where the junior combatants will receive honors akin to those who fight for the crown.\nThe event will return after a decade on May 10 with troll opening at 9 AM and the site closing at 6. Those arriving between those hours must park on the battlefield in designated areas and may not enter the site until the paperwork has been completed. Late arrivals will be responsible for following this protocol\, however\, any individual found to have violated this requirement will be asked to leave the site and will not be able to attend the event. \nTroll will close at 3pm on Saturday\, if you have not trolled in by that time you will not be admitted to the event

The Pirates of Three Swans are hosting the Baronial Championship competition with a Korean Pirate theme! Put on ye long clothes\, don ye best cutlass and blunderbuss\, and come join the ruckus at Schloss von Tannenacker\, located at 6385 N Lake Rd\, Bergen NY 14416. The event will be Saturday May 24th 2025\, from 9am to 8pm. Event Steward is Lord Peter O’Meagher\, 278 Somershire Drive\, Rochester NY 14617\, 585-732-2906\, pmeagher @ gmail dot com. \nOur dutiful champs have served our Industrious Barony well\, and as be our tradition\, must once again defend their station against newcomers. Competitions for include: Heavy Weapons\, Youth Combat\, Rapier\, Thrown Weapons\, Arts & Science\, and Bardic. Activities and games will be available for the wee pirates (with parental supervision). Awards/New Champions will be announced in the afternoon Court on Saturday. \nMind the Code of Conduct or ye be keelhauled! \nActivities:\nCompetitions will include Archery\, Arts & Sciences\, Bardic\, Heavy/Rattan\, Thrown Weapons\, Rapier/Fencing\, and Youth Combat. Awards will be announced in Their Excellencies’ afternoon Court. Event schedule will be announced closer to the event. \nFeast: \nStave off ye scurvy! The event is about 2.2 miles from the intersection (Google GPS will point a little past our driveway). There will be a large stone wall and gate on your right\, directly across the street from the Bergen Rod and Gun Club. You will not be able to see any buildings from the road. \nDirections from the North: From the junction of Rt-31 and Rt-19 in Brockport\, head South toward Bergen\, and travel about 6.6 miles from the junction. The property will be on the left side\, shortly after you cross over Black Creek. There will be a large stone wall and gate on your left with no buildings in site\, directly across the street from the Bergen Rod and Gun Club.
