The Shire of Heronter cordially invites you to “The Wassail of the Wise Heron\,” our annual 12th Night celebration. It is a time to feast\, make merry\, and chase away the winter chill with the warmth of good company. \nPlease note that this is a dry site (no alcohol permitted). Our event will utilize the community center\, kitchen\, and connected restrooms\, not the full church. Please be advised that while all activities will be held on one level\, the site does not claim to be ADA accessible. \n— \nThe Feast: A Shared Board \nThe heart of our celebration is a shared table. Our main dinner will be a grand potluck. We ask you to bring a dish to share\, and you are welcome to bring a snack or appetizer to enjoy as we gather. \nWe realize times are tough\, and if anyone is food insecure\, we would still like them to join us! If you are comfortable doing so\, please contact the event steward\, and someone would be happy to bring an extra dish to represent you. \nTo help us balance the feast\, please contact the event steward or add to the list on the Facebook page what you intend to bring for the potluck so we don’t have too many repeats! \n— \nThe Gifts: An Exchange of Medieval Treasures \nWe will hold a gift exchange to share in the spirit of the season. DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars! The Barony of Thescorre will be having a free\, heavy fighter-focused two-day event. The site is located at the Refinery\, 936 Exchange St. Rochester\, NY. \nThe site will open at 9:00 AM and close at 6:00 PM\, on both January 24th and 25th. There is no cost for entry to the event. \nHeavy fighting will be held in the gym upstairs and classes will be held on the first floor of the building in Redshield Hall. \nThere will be no feast or day board at this event\, so attendees are encouraged to pack lunch or plan to purchase a meal off-site. \nFor those who wish to contribute to covering the cost of the site\, donations will be accepted. \nPlease note; this site is not completely accessible for those with mobility issues. This year we will be holding this event in the Barony of St. Swithin’s Bog at the Johnstown Galleria located at 500 Galleria Drive\, Johnstown\, Pa. 15904.Those who attend can come on Saturday from 9:00a-7:00p and Sunday from 9:00a-5:00p (hours subject to change). \nThere will be heavy fighting\, fencing\, and youth combat throughout the day. DESCRIPTION:Additional Notes on Alcohol Policy: Alcohol must be purchased from the alcohol concessions provider at the event. No other alcohol can be brought on site or consumed on site. Since the NYS Fairgrounds are directly overseen by New York State\, there can be NO EXCEPTIONS. \nPlease join Delftwood for the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins on February 21\, 2026 at our AMAZING NEW SITE: The Wegmans Art & Home Building at the Great New York State Fairgrounds! With about 20\,000 square feet\, we have room for everything: fencing (of course)\, heavy fighting\, bardic performances on stage\, merchants\, courtesans\, a living artists’ display\, vigils\, a scroll blank competition\, largesse competition\, and more! It’s also the Investiture of Ixac and Amalie as Baron and Baroness! The site is fully-accessible through ramps and elevators. Site opens to the public at 9AM and closes at 9PM. \nImportant food note: THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC DAYBOARD OR FEAST. Please bring your own food to share amongst your beloveds. Vigil food is implied to be shared amongst beloveds and not provided by event staff. A magnificent feast will be had in the evening\, followed by more merriment. DESCRIPTION:Additional Notes on Pet Policy: No pets allowed indoors\, service animals only. \nThe Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands invites you to a Regional Muster celebrating Archery\, Thrown Weapons\, and Arts & Sciences at the Castle home of Their Graces. Byron and Ariella (755 Stonegate Dr\, Wexford\, PA 15090-7593) on Saturday\, April 18th. The muster will begin at 10:00 in the morning and continue until 4:00 in the afternoon.\nArchery ranges will open at 10:30 am and archery from the roof will begin at 1:00 pm. The Barony’s loaner gear will be available. During the afternoon\, a tournament will be held to select the Barony’s representative for this year’s Scarlet Guard Challenge. The Scarlet Guard Challenge will take place at Scarlet Guard Inn in Hunters’ Home on Saturday\, June 6th. To be selected as the Debatable Lands representative for the Challenge\, you must be able to attend Scarlet Guard Inn and you must not currently be a member of the Scarlet Guard (or equivalent order – i.e. another kingdom’s grant-level archery order).\nThrown weapons will occur as marshals and equipment are available\, and will be paused during the roof shoot.\nThere will be plenty of space indoors for any and all A&S activities!\nPlease bring something for a potluck. We’re going to be there all day\, so let’s eat. Attendees may have certain dietary restrictions (vegan\, gluten-free\, etc.) so please provide ingredient information with your dish.
