In addition\, the event features archery\, including the opportunity to shoot Royal Rounds\, giving archers a chance to improve scores or qualify while enjoying friendly interkingdom competition.\nThe day also showcases the Society’s creative spirit through A&S classes taught by instructors from multiple kingdoms. DESCRIPTION:Do you enjoy sampling food and drink? Are you a Foodie who likes to learn about food? This is an event for you! Are you a Cook or Brewer who wants to see people enjoying your food or drinks? This is an event for you! The Castle will have 20 Cook’s tables\, each with two-bite samples of two to three dishes. Attendees stroll through the Castle\, tasting samples of food and drink and discussing them with Cooks. There will be room for cooking demonstrations in the Period Kitchen. Cooks\, is there a recipe you want to make but don’t think it’s amenable to a big event menu? Now is your chance to show it off! Having at least one gluten-free and/or vegetarian recipe is encouraged. This delicious experience will be held Saturday\, August 29th in the Barony Marche of the Debatable Lands at the Castle\, 755 Stonegate Drive\, Wexford PA 15090. Site opens for Attendees at 10:30am (Cooks\, Brewers and Staff at 8:30am) and closes at 7pm. Hosted by the Shire of Heronter\, this immersive event emphasizes period encampments\, martial activities\, archery\, Arts & Sciences\, and life on campaign in the late 1300s. Previous iterations of this event have drawn over 200 attendees\, and we look forward to welcoming returning and new participants alike. \nActivities will include Heavy Fighting\, Archery\, Arts & Sciences classes\, and period social activities. The time has come to crown our Royal Highnesses\, and once again showcase the prowess and skill of our many talented citizens and neighbors. \nWe bring to you a day full of amazing sights. We shall bear witness to the coronation of Prince Gareth Kincaid and Princess Julianna Delamere as they ascend the Sylvan throne for their 5th reign \nOn September 19 at the AMVETS 265 North Ave\, Washington\, Pa we will celebrate all that is good in our beloved Kingdom culminating in a grand feast to end the day. \nTheir Majesties will be seeking their Heavy Weapons Champion. A tournament will be held and a victor chosen from all worthy combatants. \nWe will also have fencing and throwing weapons\, please restrict any pavilions or easy ups to the lower field. We will be holding an A&S display\, as well as scribal play time. Their Highnesses are also requesting Largesse donations. There is no theme and they request that you make what you wish. \nA day board is included in your site fee. The feast will be capped at 50 people.
