DESCRIPTION:Hosted by: The Dominion of Myrkfaelinn \nAdditional Notes on Alcohol Policy: No Alcohol allowed in Marvin Park ( area behind buildings across from walk way) \nAdditional Notes on Flames: There will be designated areas for fires. Please seek Autocrat Rüdiger Von Gévaudan (Nick Jividen) or Co-Autocrat Egon Von Joghurt (Devin Haflet) at the event for fire instructions \nAdditional Notes on Weapons: No firearms. \nAdditional Notes on Pet Policy: Must be on leash and have up-do-date rabies vaccine \nWar is on the horizon\, and the Dominion on Myrfaelinn invites you to join us in preparation! Our Summer War Practice is the perfect opportunity to scrape the rust from your arms and hone your skills. In addition to fencing and heavy melees\, we also offer a chance to show off your archery and thrown weapons prowess. We are also excited to be hosting SCA Armored Steel Combat. Come immerse yourself in all our dramatic martial pursuits\, as they ought to have been! \nWe will also have an A&S display area\, bardic in the evening\, and other activities. \nMerchants are very welcome! No merchant fees. \nThe event will take place at: \nTioga County Fairgrounds\n1 W. Main St.\nOwego NY 13827 \nRight off the NY-17/I-86 or Southern Tier. Same site as previous years. Site opens at Friday night at 5pm and closes Sunday at noon. \nWe will be grilling after all combat events are completed. Join us for $15! The menu is subject to change\, but we typically have steak\, potatoes\, and corn. \nRegistration:\nAdult Event Registration: $30\nAdult Member Discount Event Registration: $20\nChild\, age 0-17: Free\nSaturday Dinner: $15 \nEvent registration includes Saturday Dayboard lunch and Friday and/or Saturday night camping. Camping for both nights with electric and water hookup is $25/site; non-hookup camping is free. \nPre-registration is appreciated. (please clean up after them\, must have current rabies vaccines). No firearms\, but all other weapons are ok. \nDo not park at the school grounds; follow directions on site. Do not go to the main Fairgrounds parking area or entrance. The event entrance is out back! There are a number of local hotels\, grocery stores and gas stations around the corner and a choice of restaurants nearby. \nDayboard will be prepared by Lord Daffodil (Andy Oddy).
