DESCRIPTION:Additional Notes on Flames: While camping\, fires are permitted in designated fire rings. \nThe Barony of Thescorre cordially invites you to Pax Interruptus and the Baronial Investiture\, to be held June 26–27.\nSite opens at 6:00 p.m. on June 26 and closes at 8:00 p.m. on June 27th. \nJoin us for an overnight camping event featuring heavy combat\, combat archery\, siege\, fencing\, target archery\, thrown weapons\, merchants\, Bardic\, and A&S. The event will take place at Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake\, 150 Whitman Rd.\, Penn Yan\, NY 14527. \nBreakfast and lunch are included in the site fee. \nThis year\, we will honor the service of Baron Andriu and Baroness Nuzha as they retire\, and we will welcome our incoming Baronage. \nEvent Steward:\nLord Daniel of Blackthorn (Daniel Beadle)\nPhone: 585‑747‑2372 \nLodging: \n15 rustic cabins are available. Each cabin sleeps 4 people. Individuals can rent cabin space for $5. This may impede access for wheelchairs\, scooters\, and some rollators.\n2. Exterior Shower Facilities\nEach side of the building includes two outdoor spigot‑style showers.\nThese fixtures are not designed for accessible use and do not include grab bars\, privacy accommodations\, or accessible controls.\n3. Interior Shower Area\nTotal Stalls: Four indoor shower stalls.\n“Accessible” Stall: One stall is slightly larger and labeled as accessible; however\, it is not usable by wheelchair or scooter users due to:\nDoorway width that does not meet accessibility standards (confirmed by camp maintenance).\nAngled shower door that further restricts maneuverability.\nAbsence of properly installed grab bars (confirmed by camp maintenance).\nGeneral Access: The doorway leading into the shower area is too narrow for most mobility devices.\n4. Sinks\nThree stainless‑steel sinks are installed at a lower height\, approximately 30 inches from the ground (hip height).\nWhile the height may benefit some users\, the sinks do not appear to meet accessibility requirements for knee clearance or approach space.\n5. Toilet Stalls\nTotal Stalls: Three toilet stalls—two standard‑size stalls and one slightly larger stall.\nGrab Bars: No grab bars are installed in any stall.\nStall Access: The entry to the larger stall is not wide enough to accommodate most mobility devices\, limiting its functional accessibility. \nWe will have ADA compliant porta johns available.

SUMMARY:The Road to Rouen
DESCRIPTION:Additional Notes on Flames: all flames are to be either in established fire pits on site or in raised braziers \nPlease join us for The Road to Rouen\, a late 14th-century focused camping event inspired by the Hundred Years’ War. Hosted by the Shire of Heronter\, this immersive event emphasizes period encampments\, martial activities\, archery\, Arts & Sciences\, and life on campaign in the late 1300s. Previous iterations of this event have drawn over 200 attendees\, and we look forward to welcoming returning and new participants alike. \nActivities will include Heavy Fighting\, Archery\, Arts & Sciences classes\, and period social activities. Additional classes and activities may be scheduled throughout the weekend. \nTroll will be open on Friday\, September 11\, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.\, and on Saturday\, September 12\, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.\nThe site will close at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday\, September 13\, and all participants must be off site by that time. \nThe event will be held at Camp Timbercrest\, 1169 Moore Rd\, Randolph\, NY. The site offers primitive and semi-primitive camping\, indoor restroom and shower facilities\, open fields suitable for martial activities\, and an established archery range.
