SUMMARY:The Road to Rouen
DESCRIPTION:Additional Notes on Flames: all flames are to be either in established fire pits on site or in raised braziers \nPlease join us for The Road to Rouen\, a late 14th-century focused camping event inspired by the Hundred Years’ War. Hosted by the Shire of Heronter\, this immersive event emphasizes period encampments\, martial activities\, archery\, Arts & Sciences\, and life on campaign in the late 1300s. Previous iterations of this event have drawn over 200 attendees\, and we look forward to welcoming returning and new participants alike. \nActivities will include Heavy Fighting\, Archery\, Arts & Sciences classes\, and period social activities. Additional classes and activities may be scheduled throughout the weekend. \nTroll will be open on Friday\, September 11\, from 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.\, and on Saturday\, September 12\, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.\nThe site will close at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday\, September 13\, and all participants must be off site by that time. \nThe event will be held at Camp Timbercrest\, 1169 Moore Rd\, Randolph\, NY. The site offers primitive and semi-primitive camping\, indoor restroom and shower facilities\, open fields suitable for martial activities\, and an established archery range. SUMMARY:Fall Coronation
DESCRIPTION:Royal Progress:   \nUnto all the peoples of the Kingdom of AEthelmearc I send greetings and joyous news! The time has come to crown our Royal Highnesses\, and once again showcase the prowess and skill of our many talented citizens and neighbors. \nWe bring to you a day full of amazing sights. We shall bear witness to the coronation of Prince Gareth Kincaid and Princess Julianna Delamere as they ascend the Sylvan throne for their 5th reign \nOn September 19 at the AMVETS 265 North Ave\, Washington\, Pa we will celebrate all that is good in our beloved Kingdom culminating in a grand feast to end the day. \nTheir Majesties will be seeking their Heavy Weapons Champion. A tournament will be held and a victor chosen from all worthy combatants. \nWe will also have fencing and throwing weapons\, please restrict any pavilions or easy ups to the lower field. We will be holding an A&S display\, as well as scribal play time. Their Highnesses are also requesting Largesse donations. There is no theme and they request that you make what you wish. \nA day board is included in your site fee. The feast will be capped at 50 people. Pre-registration is encouraged to ensure we can serve all attending. Site fee for members is $20\, non members $30\, feast is $15\, children free. Checks can be made out to SCA-PA\, Shire of Kings Crossing. Pre registration can be made to James Boyd 107 Donley Rd Eighty Four\, PA 15330.
