Please immediately clean up after your animal. This is a carry in/carry out park. \nOyez! Oyez! It is time for the Crown Tournament of the upcoming King Bjarki Rikarðarson and Queen Gabrielle de Winter! The Æthelmearc line of succession must not be broken! Come witness as the Heirs to the Sylvan thrones are determined! The date and times are October 5\, 2024 from 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Your host is the Barony of Delftwood. \nWe invite you to enjoy this day in picturesque Marcellus Park. 2443 Platt Road\, Marcellus\, NY 13108. The site is easily found on GPS. Enter at the Upper Entrance. Take the immediate right to the parking lot once entering the park. There will be signs. Many amenities can be found nearby in Camillus and Fairmount. There are also many hotels and motels in Lakeland. \nThe site is bone dry and absolutely no alcohol is to be consumed or brought into the park. The site is a carry in/carry out and there are no trash barrels. Leashed pets and service animals are absolutely welcome. Pre-registration is requested prior to September 28\, 2024. \nFrom Syracuse and areas East:\nTake 690 West to Exit 6 for 695 to Rt 5 West for Auburn. Follow the signs for Rt 5 West/Auburn. Take the Camillus/Warners exit (to Marcellus). Turn left at the stop sign. You’ll enter the village of Camillus. At the stop light in the center of the village turn right. Take the first left turn (before you start up the hill) onto Rt 174 South. Travel approximately 4-6 miles into the village of Marcellus (upon entering the village Rt 174 turns into North St.). At the light in the 
village turn right onto Main St and then take your immediate left onto South St. About a half mile down the road you’ll see a brown and yellow sign for Marcellus Park. Turn left onto Platt Road. Take the SECOND entrance on your left into the park. Take immediate right into the parking lot. \nFrom areas North:\nTake your best route to 81 S towards Syracuse\, NY. Follow signs for the NY-298/I-690 W/Destiny USA Dr/Bear St. Take Exit 23 A to Hiawatha Blvd. Turn right onto Hiawatha Blvd W. Go 1 mile past the giant mall/Destiny USA. Turn right onto State Fair Blvd. Take next left on 1-690 W toward I-90. Then follow the directions for “From Syracuse and areas East”. \nFrom areas South:\nTake your best route to Route 81 towards Syracuse. Take Exit 14 for Tully/281 N. Turn left onto 281 N briefly until you come to Rt 80. Turn left onto Rt 80. Travel approximately 10.5 miles to Rt 20. Turn left onto Rt 20 W. Travel about 4.5 miles. Turn right onto Slate Hill Rd. Go 3.5 miles. Turn left onto Platt Rd and go just around the bend. Take next right into the park after almost immediately turning left onto Platt Rd. Take immediate right into the parking lot. \nFrom Rochester/Buffalo/Canandaigua and areas West:\nTake the New York State Thruway East (toward Albany). Get off the Thruway at Exit 40 (Weedsport). Turn right onto Route 34. Take Route 34 to East Brutus Street and turn left. East Brutus becomes Rte 31 B. Take Rte 31 B to Rte 5 and turn left. Take Route 5 to Bennetts Corners Road (Rte 321) and turn right. Turn left onto Forward Road. Turn right onto Rte 174. Rte 174 will take you through the village of Marcellus. At the traffic light turn right onto Main Street and immediately turn left onto South Street. South Street will take you to Platt Road\, turn left. Marcellus Park will be on your left. Take the SECOND entrance. Take immediate right into the parking lot.

DESCRIPTION:Royal Progress:    \n   \nLordes and Ladyes\, Heed This Call to Revelry!\nThe Shire of Sylvan Glen joyfully invites one and all to attend their inaugural Halloween event\, Haunting in the Hollow\, on October 11th through 13th\, Anno Societatis LIX\, at the enchanting Camp Frame in Hedgesville.\nLet your spirit run wild amidst a host of autumnal delights! \nFierce warriors may try their mettle upon the field of battle in martial activities centered around Halloween themes including: \n– Friday night novice torchlight tourney\n– Thrown weapons competitions (may include zombies and fake blood)\n– Heavy combat and rapier activities \nThose of a more contemplative nature are encouraged to participate in the available Arts and Sciences Activities. \n– A lighthearted populace voting competition.\n– Classes\n– Potions and Brews Tasting \nWe encourage (but do not require) entries/classes to be related to Halloween or fall harvest. \nFriday night will feature a boasting contest with an exciting prize for the most boastful\, and Saturday as evening falls\, all are welcome to revel in an informal Bardic Circle around the fire.\nThe young and young-at-heart will find no shortage of festivities with dedicated children’s activities throughout the event\, to include pumpkin painting and other festive activities.\nA Day board will be served on Saturday.\nCO-ED Cabins are available with bunk beds\, and the cabin reservation is included in site fee. Cabins have bathrooms and showers available for use. Cabins are divided into sections that accommodate 12-24 people. Every attempt will be made to accommodate groups that pre-register and wish to share a cabin. Please contact the reservationist with information about your group.\nPrimitive Camping is available on a limited basis due to space constraints\, and we encourage all attendees to use the cabin space if possible. Bedding is not provided.\nFor Saturday evening’s feast\, please join us for a creepy culinary adventure presented by our feastocrat Lady Arianna del Vallone\, “Dining with the Borgias”. Cost will be $20 per person. \nSite fee $40 per adult for the entire weekend\, $30 for members – $5 discount applies to all adult attendees who preregister.
