DESCRIPTION:Come join us for a day of celebration of thrown weapons and the Barony of Delftwood’s Heavy Weapons Championship as the Canton of Dunloch invites everyone to Blades and Brews (and Tournament!) II\, July 5\, 2025\, from 9 AM to 8 PM. \nThe event will be held at the Sandy Pond Sportsman’s Club\, located at 3201 County Route 15\, Pulaski NY 13142. \nEvent activities will take place under a large\, partially enclosed pavilion in case of inclement weather. \nThe Event Steward is Lady Ana Sirena de Valbuena (Stacey Rohling\, 393 Fort Leazier Road\, Mexico\, NY 13114\, SRoh106890@aol.com\, 315-591-0135 before 9 PM please!) \nThere will be a simple sandwich and finger food style day board provided as part of the event fee. Please contact the event steward with any allergies and requests. \nThere will also be a Mid-Afternoon Tea and Sweet Board. \nThere is a cash bar on site\, and the club requests all alcohol be purchased on site. Please contact the event steward if you have any requests\, and she will work with the club to provide it if they are able. \nMerchants are welcome at no additional fee. Since the NYS Fairgrounds are directly overseen by New York State\, there can be NO EXCEPTIONS. \nPlease join Delftwood for the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins on February 21\, 2026 at our AMAZING NEW SITE: The Wegmans Art & Home Building at the Great New York State Fairgrounds! With about 20\,000 square feet\, we have room for everything: fencing (of course)\, heavy fighting\, bardic performances on stage\, merchants\, courtesans\, a living artists’ display\, vigils\, a scroll blank competition\, largesse competition\, and more! It’s also the Investiture of Ixac and Amalie as Baron and Baroness! The site is fully-accessible through ramps and elevators. Site opens to the public at 9AM and closes at 9PM. \nImportant food note: THERE WILL BE NO PUBLIC DAYBOARD OR FEAST. Please bring your own food to share amongst your beloveds. Vigil food is implied to be shared amongst beloveds and not provided by event staff.
