Join us for a fun filled weekend of Equestrian\, Fighting\, Fencing\, Archery\, Thrown Weapons\, Bardic\, Children’s Activities\, and Arts and Sciences. Prizes will be awarded to the winner of each tournament held. Write down your wishes and hopes for the coming year and send them to the heavens as we celebrate the harvest season with the burning of a wickerman on Saturday night. DESCRIPTION:The Barony of Delftwood welcomes one and all to our annual Yule Celebration\, where all are invited to compete in the Peace Tournament for the Arts & Sciences\, and the Baronial Arts & Science and the Baronial Bardic Champions will be chosen on this day as well. A hearty day board of simple fare will be provided by Lady Ghita Rinaldi de Amici. \nBut wait! There’s more! The NY State Fair’s food/catering policies from last February and illnesses in March can’t stop us from celebrating our new Baron and Baroness\, Ixac and Amalie… Only delay it a little\, so… \nThe Investiture Feast Part of The Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins – a Delayed Celebration (by 8 months!) of Gluttony and Pride Welcome to the FEAST part of the Feast of the Seven Deadly Sins. Lord Wolfgang von Wylderwoode will provide the Feast based on dishes from Venice. \nThe event will be held from 12:00 PM to 8 PM at the Mexico VFW Post 369\, 5930 Scenic Avenue\, Mexico\, NY 13114. \nMerchants are welcome at no additional charge. The site is ADA compliant\, on one floor\, and ample parking is available. There is a bar on site. Smoking is allowed in the bar/canteen area as this is considered a private club. All alcohol must be purchased from the bar. Only service animals are permitted. There are no open flames permitted.
