The Barony of Rhydderich Hael is Hosting Ice Dragon Saturday, April 5th, 2024, at Genesee Community College located at 1 College Drive, Batavia, NY 14020. The event will be in main buildings on campus. Additional locations on campus may be potentially added. The Pent will be in the same room as last year, on the second floor.

Doors will open at 8:30am to all attendees and will close at the conclusion of Evening Court. All attendees must be off-site by 8:00pm.
Activities for the day will include the traditional A&S Pentathlon, a hall of Merchants with a wide selection of items, Martial tournaments, a host of Bardic and other performing arts performances, and activities for adults and youths.

Ice Dragon Heavy Weapons Rules – Head Marshal Sir Callidus
• The tournament will be a two hour bearpit. Limit of five consecutive fights.
• Two points for the winner, one point for the loser. Double kills are considered losses. Loser reports to the MOL.
• There will be two divisions. Division 1 is single handed weapons only (sword and shield, two weapons, etc). Division 2 is two handed weapons (polearms, greatswords, etc).
• The points for each division will be recorded separately and fighters will sign in and report to MOL of that division. Fighters may fight exclusively in one division or fight in both divisions.
• The fighter with highest point total in Division 1 will be declared the single handed weapon winner. The fighter with the highest point total in Division 2 will be declared the two handed weapon winner.
• The winner of each division will fight a best 2 of 3 to determine the overall winner. The Division 1 winner will only use single hand weapons. The winner of Division 2 will only use two handed weapons.
Polar Bears Fencing Melee Tourney – Head Marshal Marcos Baltanas
• Fencers line up like a traditional bear pit tourney.
• The first three people are a team
• The second three people are a team
• As deaths happen they get back into line.
• At the end of the melee fight both lines are refilled to 3 people.
• No fighter can do more than three fights.
• Fighters get 1 point for each fight and 1 point for surviving each melee.
• Maximum of 6 points for 3 consecutive wins then getting back in line.
• Everyone reports their own points.
• Multiple pits created as needed for numbers.
