Additional notes on Wheelchair Accessibility: The upper level of main hall is wheelchair accessible. There are restrooms and a shower that are wheelchair accessible. The owner of the site does not call it ADA Accessible as some cabins are not ADA Accessible.

“Rise from the Ashes”
Friday, September 29, 2023 – Sunday, October 1, 2023
With a theme of “Rise from the Ashes,” and with the spirit of the mythical Phoenix, the Shire of Heronter invites one and all to join us as we celebrate and feast activities on the shores of Lake Chautauqua. Activities will include Heavy Fighting, Fencing, Thrown Weapons, Archery, A&S Display, Silent Auction, and more!
Dayboard will be prepared by Sir Ian Kennoven and Feast will be prepared by Duke Cygnus the Blissful.

Troll will be open on Friday, September 29, 5:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 30, 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The site will close at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, and all participants should plan to be off site by that time.
The event is at the Lake Chautauqua Lutheran Center, 5013 NY-430, Bemus Point, NY 14712. Cabin spaces and feast reservations should be requested at time of pre-registration and are based on availability.

Site Information and What to Bring – There is ample parking in the grassy areas around the site.The populace is encouraged to bring day shades and other items for their comfort to set up in the space around the marshal fields. Please bring banners to hang in the main hall and around dayshades, arts and sciences projects to work on and display, food and drinks, games, entertainment, and appropriate sun and insect protections. Bring clothing for both hot and sunny and cool and rainy conditions.
Indoor space is available in the Main Hall for socializing, projects, games, and dance activities as well as the A&S Display and Silent Auction. Accessible indoor restrooms and changing spaces are available.
In celebration of our return to the traditional 3-day Harvest Raid, bardic and dance activities are encouraged, and requests for any special support for these activities may be sent to the autocrat.
Arts and Sciences Display – All attendees are encouraged to bring items, in progress or complete, to display in the Arts & Sciences Display. Documentation is encouraged but not required. There will be a populace vote with a prize to be announced at evening court.
Silent Auction – We welcome SCA-appropriate donations for a Silent Auction, including items you make or gear that needs a new home.
Merchants – Merchants are welcome with no additional charge to the event registration. Please contact the autocrat for more information.
