AN early Spring has roused the bears from their slumber, and they are ready to rumble! Please come and join the Shire of Hunters Home for the 28th Bears Event. To be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, at the Saint Francis Xavier Social Hall. 8880 Main St, McKean, PA 16426. Door Open at 9:00 am, event ends at 6:00 pm. We will be holding the annual Syr Bear double elimination tournament, followed by our “fight until no ones left ” bearpit.
There is room for fencing, updates to follow.

There is space for classes, and we will once again be holding the Kids Kitchen! Under the tutelage of Mistress Ottilige Rappoltsweiler. We invite the children of the kingdom to come and assist in preparing the event sideboard. Ages 6 and up and accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Adult nonmember registration fee is $20. Adult member fee is $10. All children 17 and under are free.
