The 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Tournament of the White Hart
Lord Christian Goldenlok and Lady Adelyn Idesbourne, the XIX Lord and Lady of the White Hart, call upon the peoples of the Known World to join them in their celebration of all that is noble and chivalrous at the Twentieth Anniversary of the Tournament of the White Hart, to be held in the Shire of Port Oasis on March 3-5, 2017.
The Lord and Lady put forth a challenge to all that will hear, that they may come to Port Oasis to participate in the mighty traditions steeped in love and honor and fight for the one who inspires them most to become the next Lord and Lady of the White Hart. Competitions will be held for Defender of White Hart (fencing), Yeoman of White Hart (archery), Bard of the White Hart, and the White Hart A&S Champion. There will also be gaming, classes, and children’s activities. More details will be forthcoming on the Shire Website as they become available.
Since it’s inaugural year, the Tournament of the White Hart has been a poetic celebration of pageantry and chivalry. We seek to honor the spirit of the event on its twentieth anniversary with the theme of “Roman de la Rose” a courtly poem of love written in 13th century France.
The Tournament will be held at the Cabell County 4H camp, 6040 Booten Creek Road Barboursville, WV 25504. Troll will open on Friday, March 3, 2017 and the doors close on Sunday, March 5.
