Quest for the Orchard Grail
June 25, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - June 27, 2021 @ 2:00 pm
Hosted By: The Shire of Sylvan Glen
Deep in the woodlands of Æthelmearc, sheltered among its apple laden branches, rests that most coveted vessel filled with the Stardust that brings the Dream to life: The Orchard Grail. The Shire of Sylvan Glen cordially invites you to join in a Grail Quest and put forth your best contributions to our shared dream.
Upon arrival, the populace will be sorted into houses, with
opportunities throughout the weekend to accumulate renown for your house through word, deed and skill, and advance along the path of pilgrimage toward the Grail. Our Quest will include heavy combat, rapier, and youth combat, as well as A&S and Bardic for all ages.
Martial activities will include side quests – opportunities to earn additional advantages to help your house complete other tasks. A&S and Bardic activities may gain additional advantage by earning double renown points for entries completed on-site (materials kits / subjects for composition and performance will be provided). On
Saturday evening, there will be a dessert competition, with all entries being shared with the populace once feast has concluded. So, bring your best from home, or bring your adventurous side and be ready to whip up something on-site with the mystery items you’ll receive.
Feast will be prepared for Saturday evening by skillful hands, under the guidance of Lady Arianna Dal Vallone (Jessica Walker). Menu will be posted closer to event date, once finalized.
