Good Gentles One and All!
The time for Harvest Raid quickly approaches. The Shire of Heronter invites one and all to join them for a fantastic weekend of Heavy Fighting (AE 500!), Fencing, Archery, Thrown Weapons an A&S display, Scribal playtime, and last, but definitely not least…..glorious Feasting!! There is also a silent auction planned for Saturday.
Activities will commence on Friday at 5 PM, where entertainment is sure to be found in the Great Hall, where many gather to play games and socialize.
This year is also one of NYS Free Fishing Day (no licenses required Saturday)! Bring your gear to fish beautiful Chautauqua Lake (wading often required, no supervision provided, at your own risk). There are no formal fishing activities.

Food all day will begin with Saturday all day sideboard, prepared by THL Tronose Modoc (Matthew Loveland)! All of this deliciousness will tease your appetite to savor the traditional Heronter Feast, planned and stunningly executed by THL Astrdr Vigaskegg (Kelly West, 304-444-7635 before 10pm, astridrvigaskegg@gmail.com) & Sir Ian (Ian Ashbaugh). Reserve your spot post haste for this fun-filled weekend! The fun begins on Sept. 27, 2019 at 5 PM, and the site closes on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 10:00am (no breakfast served).

Fees for this year are as follows:
Adult Event Registration: $17
Adult Member Discount Event Registration: $12
Youth ages 0-17 Registration: Free!
Feast: $12.00 for Adults, (Ages 13-17, full price) (Ages 5-12, half price) (Ages 0-4 free, but must reserve to have a chair.)
Cabin Space: $6.00 for Adults, $3.00 for ages 17 & under (must pre-reg).
Tent Fee: $1.00 for Adults (for the Weekend).

Location: Lake Chautaqua Lutheran Center, 5013 Route 430 in Bemus Point, NY 14712

Directions: From the West, South and East: Take your best route to I-86 (former Route 17). Take Exit 10 (Westfield/Mayville) to get to Route 430 West. (From the West it is marked only as Route 430 West. Do not take exit 9 to Bemus Point). Follow the signs for Route 430 West towards Westfield and Mayville. From the exit, it will be several miles to the site (3 or 4 miles depending on where you start counting). You will pass Long Point Park and Midway Park before seeing the Lutheran Camp on your left. The camp is at the top of a long hill next to a huge tree. From the North: Take your best Route to I-90. Exit at the Westfield exit (#60) and take Route 394 to Mayville. Pick up Route 430 East and follow to the site. The site will be on your right and will be marked as above.
