Welcome archers of the Knowne World to the Shire of Coppertree’s Fourth Annual Holiday Shoot, in the northern reaches of the Sylvan Kingdom of Æthelmearc! We have a dozen challenging holiday-themed targets for you to shoot at, at various ranges out to 30 yards, with prizes in many categories – and not just for the highest scores! The fine gentles of the Shire will also be providing a fabulous dayboard for your consumption – did I mention our fair Shire has THREE cooking Laurels?
Event will again be held at Warrior Archery, 245 West Seneca Turnpike, Sherrill, NY 13461.
Doors open at 10 AM, and practice rounds may be shot from then until 11 AM. At 11:30 archers may begin shooting for scores, which will end at 3:00. At 3 PM the finalists for Kingdom Archery Champion will shoot for Their Royal Majesties. Court will be at 5 PM. Site closes at 8 PM.
For gentles not participating at archery, we have a comfortable A&S salon available, with rolling classes, performances, and demonstrations all day. Bring your projects to work on or show, or volunteer to teach a class!
Registration is $20, with a $5 member discount. Non-shooting youth under 10 are free. No pre-registrations are needed or accepted. Make checks payable to SCA NY, Inc. – Shire of Coppertree.
The Autocrat and Marshal in Charge for this event is Lord Snorri skyti Bjarnarson (David Haldenwang – email@example.com).
Questions or dietary concerns regarding the dayboard should be directed to Lady Annika Iosefova (Diana Haldenwang – firstname.lastname@example.org).
Questions or volunteer instructors for the A&S salon should contact Lady Ewa of Caer Cinniuint (Naomi Starsiak – email@example.com) by December 1st.
